Dear All Members/Vice Presidents
Please be advised that the 2019 AGM will be held at the Club on Thursday 28th November commencing @ 8.00PM. The AGM is one of the most important events of the year. It discusses and decides the fundamentals for the 2020 cricket season. Anything from nominating captains, committee members, playing requirements, the pitches/clubhouse, finances and memberships to name just a few items.
This meeting allows all existing members to voice their views or opinions on how our club is run. Come to the AGM let’s hear your opinions and make a difference to this great club. Should you wish to nominate a club member for ANY of the offices, whether the incumbent officer has expressed a wish to stand for re-election or not, please firstly ascertain the individual’s willingness to stand, and then send a nomination, duly seconded, to me by Thursday 14th November.
Preferably nominations should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or by text to 07921 949867. If there is to be a vote for any of the committee posts there will be a secret ballot on the night and a simple majority will prevail.
