Please be advised that the 2021 AGM will once again be held face to face at the Club. The date for your diaries is Thursday 25th November commencing @ 8.00PM. Attached is the Agenda for this meeting.
The AGM is one of the most important events of the year. It discusses and decides the fundamentals for the 2022 cricket season. Anything from nominating captains, committee members, playing requirements, ground/clubhouse, finances and memberships to name just a few items. This meeting allows all existing members to voice their views or opinions on how our club is run. Come to the AGM let’s hear your views and make a difference to our club.
Should you wish to nominate a club member for ANY of the offices, whether the incumbent officer has expressed a wish to stand for re-election or not, please firstly ascertain the individual’s willingness to stand, and then send a nomination, duly seconded, to me by Friday 12th November. Preferably nominations should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or by text to 07921 949867.
If there is to be a vote for any of the committee posts there will be a secret ballot on the night and a simple majority will prevail.
