Byfleet Cricket Club 2016 AGM

Please be advised that the 2016 AGM will be held at the Club on Thursday 24th November commencing @ 19:45 PM. Please read the  agenda for this meeting.

The Club is looking for new committee members, firstly to expand the main committee thus reducing the current workload of the committee but also to refresh & rejuvenate the fundraising/social committee. If you feel you would like to join one or both of the committee’s in any capacity please let me know prior to the AGM or on the night. One such position we are particularly looking for is a ‘Communications Officer’ who would deal with regularly updating the website, twitter and facebook pages plus advertising the club within the local area and papers etc.

Should you wish to nominate a club member for ANY of the offices, whether the incumbent officer has expressed a wish to stand for re-election or not, please firstly ascertain the individual’s willingness to stand, and then send a nomination, duly seconded, to Andy Savage by Thursday 17th November. Preferably nominations should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or by text to 07921 949867.

If there is to be a vote for any of the committee posts there will be a secret ballot on the night and a simple majority will prevail.
