Clubmark is a cross sport initiative by Sport England which ensures parents or carers can be confident in the knowledge that their children are developing their sporting talent in a safe environment in which they can work towards realising their full sporting potential. It is an effective way for a club to demonstrate commitment to good practice, safe procedures and quality coaching.
Byfleet Cricket Club is proud of its Clubmark accreditation which was first achieved in October 2010. This was successfully renewed in 2013 and again in 2017 granting accreditation until 2020. The Club is supported and monitored in its development by Surrey Cricket and the Club Committee is fully committed to maintaining the highest of standards and to working at all times within the guidelines of the English Cricket Board’s “Safe Hands” policy.
